The October Supermoon last night at St. Peter’s Abbey was breathtaking. Taking it in, I thought of my friend and colleague, Lillas, who frequently referred to her view of the moon, or other nature views from her bed, as the holy book of nature. She spent considerable time looking out that window during her healing journey. This moon in Calgary was one of many she shared.
Such a special memory of Lillas, one of so many, since her passing a little more than two years ago. It reminded me of some of our ‘moon’ memories. Here are just two of them, both taken on blessed retreats. What fortune to have had these experiences.
Lillas and I wrote about this lunar eclipse and radical self care here. And the moon is featured in May I be a Blessing and My Go to Morning Treasures.
